Futuristic neon collection.
Here is my collection carrying on from my trend board which was called 'Futuristic Neon'. I decided to go for this look, because I love neon and I think the colours look really well against bold, plain, vivid colours. I have mixed and matched some graphical shapes such as triangles and other odd shapes. I kept some of my styles baggy on the body, but mostly tight to cling onto the model really well. The 2 colours I have mainly used are: green, yellow, white & black. I think these all really well together and have incorporated this style so mixed and matched in the whole collection
Futuristic Neon Trend / moodboard.
Here I have decided to do a trend forecasting board based on fashion from the 1970s - big shapes and sizes started forming inclusing the 'rave' stage which followed into the more of 1980s. I got my images from the Internet search engine, google and also from a vintage Vogue Magazine which was from the early 1980's. This collection would be for the 2014 spring / summer.
Zara Advertising & Tag research.
On one of the images I have researched is the way Zara advertise and another is examples of other rebranding. I have also researched into the extra packaging of Zara.
Tag Research.
I have researched into other members of the Inditex group as well Zara into their tags. These images on the A3 sheets of paper are my own, from my own collection of tags I have kept from the past few years. They have all been manipulated by Instagram, to add a good effect.
Zara Home.
I know Zara has sections within its store such as women, men, kids and also TRF which is the teenage section. But Zara also do Home ware. Within Home ware they have all sorts of homeward products and accessories including fragrance for the home and also a few pieces of clothing for homeware. I thought by researching Zara home this would give me a bigger insight into the Zara company.
Outside of Zara.
I decided to research on the visual shop window for a typical Zara store. I wanted to see how the clothing keeps corporate with the visual merchandising of the store. There is not much going on with the window as, in my opinion they dont want the attention to move away from their clothing.I have annotated a few images that I took from the Internet search engine, Google to get a bigger insight on the way Zara communicates with the public about their personality as a brand. Their shop window is plain but very bold and sleek and this reflects onto the designs of the clothing.
Inside Zara - Visual Merchandising.

Researching Zara products.
I wanted to research the different products to get a better insight on the brand. For example; the way Zara represents itself, is bold, striking, luxe and elegant and this is reflected in the style in the Zara products.
Zara - Inditex.
On this page I have talked about Inditex, a company with Zara is owned within. I have spoken about; Massimo Dutti, Uterqüe, Oysho, Stradivarius, Lefties, Kiddy's Class, Pull & bear & Bershka.
Facts about Zara.
